MSNA's Board is made up of dedicated volunteers who work to strengthen our community, advocate for neighborhood priorities, and bring neighbors together through events and initiatives. These individuals generously give their time to make Shenandoah a better place to live, and we’re proud to introduce them to you here.
Interested in joining the Board or getting more involved? We’d love to hear from you! Reach out to MSNA President Lindsay Corrales at [email protected].
A lifelong Miamian, I moved to Shenandoah with my husband in 2014 and quickly fell in love with the neighborhood’s central location, rich history, beautiful architecture, and strong sense of community. Since joining the MSNA Board in 2018, I’ve been committed to strengthening neighborhood connections and working collaboratively to improve the quality of life for all residents. I’m especially passionate about civic engagement, ensuring our voices are represented in city and county decision-making, and creating inclusive spaces for neighbors to come together.
Fun fact: I’m the proud dog mom of two pups, Penny and Holly—and you’ll often find us strolling around Shenandoah Park!
I’ve lived in this neighborhood my entire life, and I’m proud to serve as Treasurer of MSNA. My heart is in community work whether it's organizing clean-ups, leading children's nature activities during Shenandoah Days, or working with our commissioners to advocate for what matters most to our neighbors. I'm especially passionate about protecting our tree canopy and making sure our neighborhood stays green, healthy, and connected for all of us now, and for my children’s future.
Fun fact: I love collecting seashells! Any trip to the beach isn’t complete without adding a new treasure to my growing collection.
My family and I moved to the neighborhood in 2010, and I immediately fell in love with its beautiful houses and central location. I am passionate about contributing to a strong sense of belonging among residents. As a board member, I am committed to fostering community engagement and ensuring that Shenandoah remains a welcoming place for everyone.
Fun Fact: What are the odds? I'm Virginia, and I live in Shenandoah... Miami edition, not the mountain one!
A Miami native, I moved to the Shenandoah neighborhood in 2020. I was always drawn to its urban character and unique personality, but what I’ve come to appreciate most is its strong sense of community. As a board member of MSNA, it’s my mission to support that community’s growth while preserving what makes Shenandoah special.
Fun fact: I am a first-generation American.
As a Miami native, I joined the MSNA Board because I believe the people who live in a neighborhood should have a voice in shaping its future. What I love most about Shenandoah is its history, character, tree canopy, and strong sense of community. It is the kind of neighborhood where people still know and care about their neighbors. As Miami continues to grow, I’m passionate about finding thoughtful ways to preserve the charm, culture, and warmth that make neighborhoods like Shenandoah special while advocating for practical improvements that help residents thrive.
Fun fact: I went to Silver Bluff Elementary right down the street!
I reside in Shenandoah since 2022. Passionate about preserving the historical gem that it is and making it more enjoyable one idea at a time. Love to cook, travel & spending time with loved ones.
Fun fact: I once flew on a hot air balloon overlooking the beautiful fall foliage of Upstate New York
I’ve been proud to call Miami’s Shenandoah neighborhood home since the spring of 2015, when my family and I moved here. What I love most about living in Shenandoah is the sense of community — many of my neighbors have become close friends over the years. Our neighborhood is truly special, with its own library, a beautiful park, family-friendly streets perfect for biking, and easy access to the vibrant Coral Way and Calle Ocho corridors filled with restaurants and shops. As a family-oriented community, Shenandoah is a wonderful place to live and grow. And as a board member, my goal is to continue building a more equitable and welcoming neighborhood for all. With everyone’s help, we can beautify our streets with more trees, implement thoughtful traffic calming initiatives, and bring more family-focused events to our parks.
Fun fact: I believe that people are inherently good — and that each of us has the power to be the change we wish to see in the world.
